Compensation range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually

This is a full-time remote role for an Accessibility Tester. The Accessibility Tester will evaluate websites, applications, electronic documents, and other digital products for accessibility issues, using both manual testing techniques and assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and magnification tools.

Day-to-day tasks

• Testing against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
• Documenting issues clearly
• Collaborating with designers, developers, and content teams to help them understand barriers and implement fixes
• Contributing to accessibility audits and reports
• Validating solutions and remediation work
• Supporting continuous improvement of accessibility testing methods and processes

Required qualifications

• 2 years experience with digital accessibility testing, including manual techniques and use of assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnifiers).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (such as WCAG, ARIA best practices) and familiarity with common accessibility testing tools.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to describe issues clearly and suggest practical remediation approaches.
• Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, development, product, content) and communicating accessibility concepts to non-specialists.
• Attention to detail, structured problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Understanding of inclusive design principles and user-centered design, especially for people with disabilities.

Preferred qualifications

• Trusted Tester (TTv5) Certification
• Prior experience in QA, UX, front-end development, or accessibility consulting.
